Get started

Start reading. Pay only when you need more.

Reading the property record here needs no account and no card. A plan adds who owns the property, everything filed against it, and the tools to keep watch on it. In that order, and only as far as you need.

Three steps

How far you go is up to you.

  1. 01

    Search

Type an address or a block and lot, or open a county and work down to a block. The property record (parcel, building, assessed values and taxes) opens with no account. What a plan adds is held back in place, and the page tells you where it would be rather than hiding that it is holding anything.

  2. 02

    Create an account

It costs nothing and it is not a trial. On its own it lets you claim your own property, and it is what a plan attaches to when you pick one.

  3. 03

    Pick a plan

When you need more than the property itself. Pro adds owner names, sales and deeds, everything filed against a property (foreclosures, sheriff sales, mortgages and liens), tracking, alerts on properties and saved lists, and thematic maps. The plans page compares every tier and its limits.

Your first ten minutes

Six places to open, and what you will see.

In order. The first three open with no account; the last three come with a plan.

  1. Browse the counties

All twenty-one counties; pick one and work down to a municipality, block and parcel.

  2. Open the data grid

The property table to page through; with a plan, every dataset as a table you can filter and sort.

  3. Open the map

Parcel boundaries drawn over New Jersey; click a parcel to open the record behind it.

  4. Track a property

Your workspace: the properties you are watching, and what has moved on them.

  5. Save a list

Group properties into a list you can come back to, or work through.

  6. Browse documents

The recorded-document catalogue, by county — and an honest note where we cannot look.

Before you start

The four questions everyone arrives with.

Do I need an account to search?
No. Search by address or block and lot, and read the property record (parcel, building, assessed values and taxes) and the parcel map, with no account and no trial. Owner names, sales, filings and recorded documents come with a paid plan.
What does an account cost?
Nothing, and it is not a trial that expires. On its own an account lets you claim your own property; tracking, lists and alerts start on Pro.
What does a paid plan add?
Pro adds owner names and mailing addresses, sales history and deeds, foreclosures, sheriff sales, mortgages, liens and pending sales, with tracking, alerts including alerts on saved lists, exports, thematic maps and property reports, and extra tracked-property packs when you need room for more.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from billing settings, at any time. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and then drops back to the free account tier — you keep the account, the saved work and everything the free tier can read.

Type an address.
